This site is a 3BHK apartment in Ponamalle. The clients had come to us with the requirement for a design of a home in a contemporary style. The being fans of wood and stone finishes wanted the same in their house too. Both wooden cladding and stone cladding are loud finishes for a apartment interior, so we had to judiciously accommodate them in our design in a way that the balance each other well without competing for attention. The kitchen counter top is the main eye catching element, keeping the other finishes white and neutral. We maintained the natural, wooden palate through all the spaces of the house. The bedrooms we designed keeping vastu orientations in mind and also the wardrobe accommodations with the room along with light play.
